public LIVE MUSIC

Kane Family Farm is a resort style entertainment venue with a variety of happenings…..and we love live music. We host a range of live music genres including country, rock, blues and more. The Kansas City area region is known for boasting some of the most talented groups and ensembles in the nation, music entertainment is a staple.

WHAT TO EXPECT…..

  • Live music year round, rain or shine… The Kane Family Farm has two indoor stages (Hay Barn Stage and Long Barn Stage), and two outdoor stages, (Pool Stage and Biker Stage). If we anticipate inclement weather at the outdoor stages, we’ll move the Bands to one of the indoor stages. We provide live music most Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Be sure to check the Event Calendar for availability and start times.

  • Variety of seating… Depending on the Stage, we provide different types of seating. You are also welcome to bring you favorite lawn chair.

  • Parking… We have plenty of parking in our lot and acres of available spaces in designated overflow areas.

  • Bar… We have a full service bar including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. (NO outside drinks, containers or coolers are allowed.)

  • Food… We have a limited food menu available Friday and Saturday nights.

  • Swimming… In the Summer, adults are welcome to cool off in the pool during and after the music (adult swim only after 6pm). There is no life guard on duty, swimming is at your own risk. Please, do not bring flotation devices, balls, pool toys, etc.

  • Cover fees… We endeavor to keep your entertainment costs down while still providing access to the best musical talent in the region. Currently, there is a $5/person charge for the Saturday evening live music events. Friday nights are “free admission”.

  • Kids… While everyone is welcome at the Farm, the live music events definitely have an adult vibe as alcohol is served and music continues until late evening.

  • Pets… We ascribe to a “no pet” policy. The stage area is fenced, with an in-ground pool and filled with guests that come for the music - it’s simply not a pet environment. We even put up our own Farm dog, Nita, during events.

  • Smoking… We have designated smoking areas on the grounds, away from the live music venues, with receptacles. Smoking is prohibited inside all of the Farm buildings.

From homegrown acts to local big-names, please join us for our next public live music events, food and drinks on the Farm.
